About Us

For nearly twenty years, IBPTECH has employed high technology in audit and forensic services. Established in 2001 due to the significant increase in legal actions involving online businesses, it immediately surrounded itself with teams committed to reliable results and set up specialized laboratories for digital forensic analysis.

At that time, the American Chamber of Commerce magazine already highlighted IBPTECH’s creation of a whole range of new procedures for technical and scientific analysis in the cyber world, a structure used to support the work of legal operators and serve the corporate market.

In 2006, IBPTECH expanded its structure by implementing a multidisciplinary forensic phonetics service. Recordings that are part of legal proceedings began to be analyzed by a team composed of speech therapists, electronic engineers, and IT professionals. This transdisciplinary approach, with specialists from various disciplines working simultaneously, proved to be innovative and effective.

IBPTECH established technological partnerships and adopted pioneering forensic tools worldwide, such as Encase from Guidance Software for computer forensics, Cellebrite for mobile, tablet, and GPS forensics, among many other highly specialized resources.

Over the years, areas of expertise in sounds, images, documents, and writing were also created, which soon stood out for adopting multidisciplinary methods that have since provided innovative forensic services.

The forensic engineering structure began to cover other specialties, such as judicial disputes over telecommunications system patents, monitoring coverage and electromagnetic interference, noise measurement, investigation of failures in electronic systems, black box analysis, accident reconstruction, contract breaches, and many other issues involving complex judicial forensics.

IBPTECH also began to stand out in occupational safety engineering, achieving national scale operations in processes involving hazard, insalubrity, labor systems, and other issues in the labor justice sphere.

Regarding fraud investigation and improper procedures, IBPTECH adopted a tool for analyzing large volumes of data developed by a recognized international scientific research center, providing Digital Crimes Unit (DCU) services to identify forensic evidence and support the protection of people, institutions, companies, brands, and products against risks and threats.

In the audit area, IBPTECH started conducting governance and compliance evaluations, services that soon gained prominence due to the transdisciplinary approach provided by IBPTECH’s teams and laboratories specialized in computer forensics, forensic engineering, forensic phonetics, and economic-financial forensics. It began offering valuation services on high-tech issues in the context of mergers, acquisitions (M&A), and arbitral or judicial procedures.

Since 2016, IBPTECH has moved its headquarters to the Paulista Avenue region in São Paulo, where it has highly qualified experts, methods, laboratories, and equipment.
